The pupils are divided into four Houses before they enter the school. The Houses are Andrews (blue), Davids (yellow), Georges (Red) and Patricks (Green) – our Patron Saints! Each House has two Captains, in Year 6, chosen by the staff, who are seen as responsible and willing to take the initiative during House Events. Each House has two members of staff as guides and House meetings and assemblies are held regularly in both schools to promote not only the school values, but also the sense of belonging to a special family of all ages.
Every year, on the important dates of the four Patron Saints (our Houses), the boys are allowed to purchase some confectionery from the Tuck Shop. There is much celebration to be had!
House points are awarded for very good work and / or effort in the academic and creative subjects as well as the Inter-House activities which encourage a competitive but sporting attitude.
Throughout the year, Inter-House Competitions in sports, such as Rugby, Football and Cricket, and other creative activities such as an Art, Drama or Writing Competitions, ensure that the boys compete fiercely for the House Trophy awarded each term.
